Management Diagnostics complies with the Australian Trade Practices Act and fair trading legislation.
Refunds and Returns
Please choose carefully. We do not give refunds if you simply change your mind or make an incorrect selection.
Returns for credit or exchange
We will accept returns of sale or return goods and offer an exchange or credit up to 14 days after you receive your order. Books returned to us for exchange or credit must be in their original condition.
Delivery charges will only be refunded if the items you are returning are not the goods you ordered and the books were sent as result of our error.
Please ensure the items are returned in protective packaging with your order confirmation number and tax invoice on the address label to:

Non returnable items
Product such as Online assessments and courses, CDs, DVDs, Surveys, Sale items, tapes and books including CD-ROMs are “Firm Sale” and cannot be returned for exchange, credit or refund.
How to cancel Sale or Return items
You may cancel all or part of your order of books that are sale or return provided you contact us before you receive the email notification that your order has been received by Management Diagnostics.
Firm Sale goods
Firm sale goods such as Online assessments and courses, videos, DVDs CD-ROMs, Books with CD-ROMs or disks that are ordered especially for you may not be cancelled exchanged or refunded if you simply change your mind.
Pricing and Availability of Items
Prices shown on the website apply to goods purchased online and are in Australian Dollars ($AUD). Prices are set at the recommended publisher price in most instances. In some cases they may be less than recommended retail price (RRP) when we are running promotions with specific titles. Prices are subject to change without notice. Please enquire in store for a quote.
Special Orders
When we need to order an item for you, the price shown may no longer be current, as new stock shipments may have different prices. We will inform you of the new price and seek your instructions before proceeding.
Firm Sale Special Orders
All videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs and books with CD-ROMs ordered at the request of the customer that cannot be returned to the supplier are Firm sale. These items are clearly identified as firm sale as we will send you a form to sign to advise you that the goods you requested are non returnable or non refundable if you change your mind.
Imported books are priced depending on the current exchange rate from the country of origin and include the cost of importation. Please note that the price of imported books may vary slightly from the internet price due to currency variations between times of purchase.
Exclusions to Sale Items
- Only books currently in stock will be discounted.
- The sale does not apply to DVDs and videos, merchandise, gift vouchers, new release titles and special orders.
- No further discounts apply to sale items.
- Only orders placed online, via fax, via telephone within the sale period will receive the sale discount.
- Only orders delivered within Australia will receive the sale discount.
- While stocks last. No rainchecks will be given.
- Management Diagnostics will not refund sale items. Please refer to our standard Terms & Conditions about refunds.
- Sale items may be exchanged with some restrictions. Please refer to our standard Terms & Conditions about exchanges.
- Shipping rates are not discounted. Normal shipping rates apply to orders containing sale items.
Currency and GST
For orders delivered within Australia all prices include GST (Goods and Services Tax), at the rate of 10%.
Orders to be delivered outside Australia
GST is not payable on orders to be delivered outside Australia, and will be deducted as you complete your order if applicable.
Please note: Management Diagnostics is not able to accept orders from Nigeria, or any other country where shipping cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, manufacturer restrictions prevent us from selling select products to customers outside of Australia. Please email Management Diagnostics with any overseas enquiries.

Goods are sent via Australia Post. Express postage and courier orders will incur additional delivery charges. Please call +61 7 3227 4816 or email Management Diagnostics to arrange deliveries via express postage and courier.
Books shipped to overseas addresses are sent by Australia Post Economy Air.

DVD, Video and Salary Survey Outside Australia
Service Type Courier or Express Post. All items Price on application. All items, except DVD's and Videos, are shipped from our Australian fulfilment centre located in Brisbane, Queensland.
Stock Availability
As our list of titles is extensive, not all books are carried in stock and many need to be ordered in. Our databases are regularly updated based on information supplied by hundreds of publishers. While our site lists availability based on information supplied by publishers, publishers can go out of stock or place a title out of print at short notice. We will advise you by email if there are unforeseen delays in supplying your order.
If you cannot find the title you are looking for in our online database, we will be happy to place a special order for you. Please contact us by phone on +61 7 3227 4816 or email Management Diagnostics.
All orders received are subject to product availability. Books may appear on the website that have become unavailable or out-of-print. In this case we will send you an email stating that we are unable to fill the order.
Please also note that on occasions publishers may vary the book cover or change the described contents.
Delivery Times
Expected delivery times are displayed when a title is selected. Generally, titles in stock are delivered within 3 to 5 days of the order when shipped to an Australian address. Overseas orders sent via airmail.
Payment Options
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, American Express and Diners Club credit cards only for Internet orders. Credit cards are handled by our secure server and charged the business day the order is filled.

Management Diagnostics adheres to the Australian Institute of Management - Qld & NT Privacy Policy.
Security
Management Diagnostics is protected by up to 256-bit digital certificate and has SSL encryption in place to protect consumer data submitted on this website. This means that your personal and sensitive information can be safely transmitted between your web browser and the Management Diagnostics web server without being intercepted or tampered with.
SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer, a security protocol for managing the security of online message transmission. SSL encrypts or scrambles any information sent from your browser to the server you are connected to, making it impossible to intercept and tamper with the information on the way.
The way that SSL is implemented is via a digital certificate. Digital certificates guarantee the security of the connection between the browser and the server.
Returning DVD Hires
Unless specifically arranged with Management Diagnostics staff, DVDs hired through Management Diagnostics are for a 48 hour period. The resource material is couriered to you direct from our supplier on the day prior to the hire period commencing and it is a condition of the hire that the DVD is returned within 24 hours of the hire period expiring. Hired DVDs must be returned to the supplier via a trackable method, ie, Registered or Express Post, or via a courier company.
Customers who do not return hire DVDs in a timely manner may be charged the balance between the hire and purchase prices.
Customer Complaints
Customer Complaints can be submitted using our Feedback Form. Complaints will be handled and resolved in consultation with Management Diagnostics and Australian Institute of Management senior staff.
Jurisdiction
The Australian Institute of Management - Qld & NT controls the operation of Management Diagnostics from Brisbane, Australia and any disputes arising from business relating this to this site will be bound by the state laws of Queensland and Australian Federal law.
Any dispute arising out of this website and its services shall be heard by the Courts of the State of Queensland which shall have exclusive jurisdiction in respect of the same.
